Youth Leadership Network

What is the YLN?

The FA Youth Leadership Network (YLN) is a network for Youth Leaders aged 16-24 (as of 1st August 2025) across England to connect and collaborate with fellow Youth Leaders interested in progressing through voluntary roles in football. The Youth Leadership Network (YLN) is managed by The FA National Youth Council (FANYC) with the support of adult partners at The FA. All delivery content is based on the England Football Compass Workbooks.  

The Youth Leadership Network (YLN) will be led by Faye Luckhurst and Jack Masters (Youth Leadership Network Leads on The FANYC for the 25/26 season).  

YLN Delivery content:

  • Meeting 1: The Power of Resilience
  • Meeting 2:  The Greater Game (in partnership with M&S Food and Nuffield Health)
  • Meeting 3: What Makes an Effective Leader?

YLN Meeting Dates:

  • Wednesday 25th March 2026 – 18:00-19:30 (via Microsoft Teams)
  • Wednesday 6th May 2026 – 18:00-19:30 (via Microsoft Teams)
  • W/c 22nd June 2026 – 18:00-19:30 (via Microsoft Teams)
