Academy Administration Coordinator - Manchester City FC

Job Description

As an Administration Coordinator you will be a key player in providing administration, operations and project management support to the Operations and Development departments within the Academy collaborating to achieve success within an inclusive and creative environment.

Your Impact

Based within the Academy you will work with Administration & Transport team to:

Develop and upkeep all football administration policies and procedures. This will require information gathering, working with different stakeholders, and producing written work to high standards.

Manage the Academy parent/family and away team accreditation system, ensuring all have been accredited to enter the site.

Migrate all paper-based documentation to electronic files and keep files up to date as and when changes are required.

Academy super user for all Club, Premier League & FA online functions and databases.

You’ll support the Academy Secretary with player registrations.

Manage parent expenses & tournament support including checking claims against policy, monitoring cost against budget and working with key stakeholders to migrate the process to an online system.

You’ll assist Academy Secretary with the distribution of 1st team match tickets and support with new online ticket function.

Single point of contact for Foundation Transport service provided by Zeelo, managing delivery of the weekly service, and escalating any issues.

You’ll manage the collection and distribution of academy team results from matches and tournaments to the communications department, including producing match report information if required. This may include travelling with academy teams to away matches and domestic tournaments.

Coordinate and manage the appointments of Match Officials for Academy matches. To support Academy Secretary with match official review reports, recording how officials are performing against SLA’s.

Working with Academy Secretary to manage all hospitality for academy matches in the Academy Stadium.

Facilitate all Administration & Transport meetings, recording actions through to resolution or closure.

Assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of academy events when required.

Be the main point of contact for the Premier League for the U9-U14 age groups and to ensure all communication with Premier League/FA/Governing Bodies is returned in a timely and accurate fashion.

You’ll update and maintain player registrations and internal databases for all Academy players.

Have a comprehensive understanding of the Youth Development rules and regulations for all governing bodies: Premier League, FA, UEFA and FIFA

Be a representative of Manchester City FC Academy, at Premier League 2 home fixtures – to host the opposition, match officials, Premier League Staff and other stakeholders as necessary, to ensure smooth operation of the fixture
