Our Game Consultations

Here at The Football Association, we’re about to begin our biggest ever consultation with the grassroots game to help shape our 2024-2028 strategy, and if you are involved in the local game we would like to invite you to enter the ballot to attend.

We understand that in your role, you play an important part in making football happen in your community. Bringing this experience, we would encourage you to apply to attend one of our events.

These events are designed as an opportunity for the grassroots game to truly tell us what is important to you. The FA will be there ‘on listening mode’ and will use these discussions to write our 2024-2028 Strategy which aims to support the game in a way that you need.

The audience of around 100 people will be made up of individuals from across the grassroots game, County FA staff, FA staff and at some events, we will have partners from organisations such as the Premier League, Football Foundation and Sport England.

Doors will open for the evening at 6:30pm and the event will run from 7pm-9pm with an opportunity to network with peers, County FA staff and FA staff until 10pm, should you wish to do so. On the evening we will be collectively discussing behaviours in the grassroots game, how we can best support our volunteers, coaches and referees, followed by a final topic which you will select.

All event dates and locations available can be viewed on our ballot form. The ballot can be entered by clicking this link.<https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/d1dde3a153254fc0b2dffef02eb55cd0>
