We have an opportunity to be a part of the team delivering the 2022/23 FA Pokémon Futsal Cup. 

This competition will take place this year along the following lines;

• Qualification for the finals will take place at 4 regional heats ( Details below) The Final will be staged at University of Wolverhampton ( Walsall Campus)
• These events will be staged over two days – Saturday and Sunday with u/16s and u/14s male and female categories being played on Saturday and the u/10s and u/12s staged on Sunday
• We anticipate that each regional event will involve teams from up to  8 CFAs and for this reason we have secured venues that are able to host multiple courts.
• Due to the number of qualifiers we will have for the regional events we are looking at l competition days  from 10 – 5pm. Event staff will be ideally be involved for both days and are likely to be required from 8.30 a.m.
• The Finals will have fewer teams – 4 in each category but they will play longer games.

To run the 4 Regional Events and National Finals we are seeking to recruit FA youth leaders over the age of 18. They will be involved in core activities of pitch coordination, results service, team registration and liaison, implementing safeguarding plan, providing information to participants and spectators, award ceremonies, sponsor activations etc.

If you are involved your travel expenses will be paid and you will be provided  lunch, a competition T Shirt and an enjoyable, meaningful role at a FA Tournament. Due to constraints on the event budget we are seeking ideally recruit local staff and volunteers for these events that will not require hotel accommodation.
