Apply to be a mentor at this years FA Leadership Academy

The FA National Youth Council (FANYC) are looking to recruit a team of mentors to support the delivery of the FA Leadership Academy (FALA) 2023.

FALA is a 12-month learning and development programme for Youth Leaders aged 16 – 24 which begins with a four-day residential experience delivered at the end of July. During the 12-month learning and development programme, youth leaders are supported to unlock their full potential whilst also implementing a project that aims to deliver positive change in their local football community. Participants that complete the 12-month programme then graduate as part of FALA the following year i.e., in this case, 2024.

As a FALA mentor, you will be integral to supporting the FA National Youth Council’s vision: “To ensure all young people have meaningful and inclusive opportunities to develop themselves and positively impact the football community.”

The purpose of the FALA mentor role is to support a small group of FALA23 participants on their 12-month developmental journey, to develop themselves through the completion of a number of learning and development tasks and their project.
