Youth leadership team award nominations are now open!

The FA National Youth Council knows that there are so many Youth Leaders doing amazing work in their community but believe there is more to do as far as highlighting and celebrating this work. This Youth Leadership Team Award aims to ensure that the work of Youth Leaders is visible, understood and celebrated.

You can nominate a Youth Leadership Team who you believe are deserving of this award, whether that is a Youth Council and/or a Youth Committee (in clubs and leagues), or similar.

The criteria for nominations are as follows:

  • A group of youth leaders (minimum 3 active youth leaders) who are part of a County FA, Partner Organisation or a Youth Committee within a club and/or league.
  • The group must be able to demonstrate how they have made a positive impact within their community during the current season.
  • The group must demonstrate that they have developed collaboration skills by consistently working as a team to problem solve and devise new ideas to support Youth Leadership.

To submit a nomination please complete this nomination form detailing the team you are nominating, the names of the youth leaders in the team and your reasons why you believe they deserve the award. The deadline for nominations is Thursday 5th June, 17.00

The FA National Youth Council will identify three shortlisted teams, all of whom will be invited to send two representatives to the FALA Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday 29th July at Walton Hall, Warwick. As the nominee you will also be invited to attend. The achievements of all three shortlisted teams will be showcased during Graduation, then the winning team will be announced.

Should you have any questions, then please contact Alice McDonagh on the following email address - nationalyouthcouncil@thefa.com. We look forward to receiving your nominations.
