The FA leadership academy mentor applications are now open. The FA leadership academy (FALA) is a 12 month learning and development programme aimed at passionate young people aged 16-24 who are interested in football.
The programme kicks off with a 4 day residential located at Walton Hall Warwickshire (CV35 9HG) that takes place from the 28th till the 31st of July this year. Over the course of the programme participants are supported to achieve their full potential whilst conducting a project that aims to deliver positive change in their local football community. The programme is delivered by the 13 youth leaders of the FA National Youth Council.
FALA mentors are an essential part of the programme that ensure youth leaders are fully supported throughout the programme and can get as much out of it as possible. Participants will receive full support throughout the entire 12 months and can build strong working relationships with their mentors. In the spirit of Youth Leadership we aim to establish strong youth-adult partnerships and have representation from a number of different organisations and backgrounds.
This is so that youth leaders are equipped with a strong network and ability to take clear direct steps to achieve their goals and ambitions.
