How are clubs going to utilise the amazing success of the Lionesses to increase female participation in walking football?
How are clubs going to utilise the amazing success of the Lionesses to increase female participation in walking football?
I had a similar question - wondered if FA would take the opportunity to promote the benefits of the game ? Or if there was any news on the annual Walking Football Week ?
Hi Fay, yes these are all in discussion and will be communicated and shared once confirmed and/or developed. Off the back of the big Lionesses win, there is the opportunity for clubs/providers to host a Big Football Day Event to open their doors and engage females who have been inspired by the tournament. This isn't Walking Football specific but a great opportunity to capitalise on the success of the EUROs for all types of female football.
