What does a typical session look like for your club? Do players show up just to play a game or do you incorporate coaching elements, such as refining skills, techniques and tactics?

We require players to sign up beforehand, and players will be then allocated to teams a day before the sessions. There will be a short warm up before the session but then it is a general kick about, advise will be offered particularly to new players or when related to something the club is trying to do in completive fixtures.
We do run coached session in preparation for League games.
For women, again we require the women to sign up beforehand and teams are pre-set. There will be a warm up followed by a 10-15 minute coaching session. Maybe a skill focus, goalkeeping development, breaking the press etc. This is followed by a general social game with the coach giving both individual and tactical advise. We are trying to fit in a social session and some coaching within the 1-hour time allocation as the venue we use is very well used.
