Talent can be found everywhere and anywhere. And in this episode, we sit down with Alexis Lunn-Gadd and Amanda (AJ) Goodwin to find out about Discover My Talent - a programme designed to find the Lionesses of the future and be more inclusive and accessible while developing more and better players.


AJ is a talent technical coach for the North West who works to identify talent and work with coaches. She is also an under-16s assistant coach for the national team and helps them to achieve success.


Alexis is the women’s talent pathway operations manager. She is responsible for developing a strategic program to help find talent. She helps make sure that the talent pathway is fit for purpose for players found through the program.


We find out what the women’s England talent pathway currently looks like, and what it will look like in the future. We also dive deep into the Discover My Talent programme. You’ll learn how it works and how coaches can refer players who are showing that they’ve got what it takes.
