LOTG FAQs

Following a recent discussion at the FA's Walking Football Advisory Group meeting, there will now be a live document that contains the Frequently Asked Questions surrounding The Laws of Walking Football. This will include anything that is not clearly covered within the full Laws document or as stated in IFAB Laws of the Game.

You can pose any questions using this forum thread and the live document will be updated. This can be found here

Don't forget there is a free online Laws of the Game module that is open for anyone to access which gives a basic understanding of the Laws. This can be accessed here

  • Hi,

Firstly, having a live FAQ is a great idea.

Secondly, my question. The law on the goalkeeper receiving a pass back from a player he has just passed to is clear but how should play be restarted if, in this situation, the goalkeeper doesn't touch it, leaves it and the ball comes to a stand-still in the penalty area. No one can play the ball without giving away a free kick / penalty.
