As we normally play indoors, we will be continuing with our regular Monday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions
I have passed as a Tournament Referee with the WFA, but referee at County tournaments that are run by Hampshire, my parent county on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, between September and May. I play now and again, but enjoy refereeing more now, and like to be available for tournaments as much as possible.
What off season? Grimsby Corinthians continue with their 5 sessions a week (all outdoors) throughout the winter months. Only stopping when facilities shut for holidays. The Lincs FA leagues continue to have fixture dates but have the option not to play league fixtures in January and February I believe. We also continue League fixtures over at Wakefield (indoor facility, but usually colder inside than out!) we also have one off tournaments over in Hull where our club are playing and I am refereeing. Besides all of this I am also personally busy working with others as we set about organising the 2024 Walking Football Leagues Alliance National Cup, Champions Cup and Inter-league Cup.
