The WFLA has just completed its National Cup Finals weekend. They had over 350 players involved in over 100 games all played under FA Walking Football laws. 6 age categories saw national champions crowned at 50+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ (mixed) and 40+ , 50+ Women’s. All the clubs who qualified for the finals weekend come from the 26 walking football leagues that are affiliated to the WFLA.  We hope the number of leagues affiliated with the WFLA increases so that a standardised and unified approach can be achieved through the leagues sharing best practice. All the leagues play to FA laws and are affiliated with county FAs. The WFLA are not looking to interfere with the national governance of walking football but hope to influence it by sharing the experiences of our member leagues. It was a truly great weekend although played in very testing conditions with the weather being so warm.
