I regularly see posts on other social media platforms about referees wanting to get into WF but county FAs in some areas appear unwilling to put the workshops on. This could mean that potential WF referees are lost to the FA because they decide to follow the WFA referee scheme. WF is growing massively month on month and recruiting/training referees should be one of the priorities of all county FAs as this is paramount in providing a safe playing environment at both club sessions and competitions.
