Becoming an FA Accredited Club opened a number of funding doors for us. We were able to raise £1500 through the Football Foundation and Papa Johns as the opportunity to apply was open to FA Accredited clubs. This money was vital in enabling us to establish a women's session and then team.

John, we are an independent FA Accredited club. We have partnership agreements with Leyton Orient FC and the Leyton Orient Trust that allows us to use the name in return we must wear Orient kit. We receive no money from the Club or Trust, but help in kind such as half-time penalties, links on the Club website, reduction in price on club kit, support for the Trust health programmes. The Trust and Club have observer status on our Committee.

Charlbury Town Walking Football are registered as a team that is a part of Charlbury Town FC. Unfortunately, CTFC are not currently an accredited football club, so in turn nor are we!

I am trying to get CTFC to do all they need to do, to become accredited, but ultimately might neee to consider registering the Walking Football Tram as a stand-alone club
