Updated Laws of the Game for 2023

Updated Laws of the Game for 2023

Here you will find the updated Laws of Walking Football for 2023.

In order for these laws remain to remain up-to-date and fit for purpose for the game, an annual review process takes place in which you are able to submit suggestions for changes and amendments via your County FA. These are reviewed through the Walking Football Advisory Group and Referee Committee and either approved for change, trialled in order to make an evidence-based decision or denied.
This season there will be a number of trials taking place across various competitions from the last review process.
Proposals for future changes will take place at the back end of 2023 for 2024 revisions.

  • Hi we are planing to adopt the newly issued FA rules next season in the Birmingham county WFL tbf they are not far away from our current format so hopefully will not be to much of a challenge. One problem we have had is that our Referees are not linked to Whole game system to report any misconduct as we run 6 competitive leagues does occur now and again and we now currently run our own in house disciplinary scheme which puts the onus on the committee to decide punishment who are mostly linked to member clubs .
