In 2010, Lewes FC became a 100% community-owned, non-profit entity. It has around 1500 equal owners across 26 countries. The board is elected from among the owners, which means the club not only serves the community, its is a genuine reflection of this community.

Their unique way of operating is underpinned by a strong set of values and a clear vision which outlines ‘a sustainable and successful football club for the whole community, with equal facilities and opportunities’.
