Disability Training For Clubs: Journey To Inclusion

Disability Training For Clubs: Journey To Inclusion

Is your club ready to open its doors and welcome more disabled people? Perhaps you already have a disability offer in place and are looking to expand? Or maybe you’re yet to offer disability football and are worried about how to do so?

England Football is here to help!

Introducing Disability Training For Clubs: Journey To Inclusion - a combined toolkit and training workshop that collectively brings you everything you need to know about welcoming and embedding disabled people at your club.

Disability Toolkit for Clubs

The online toolkit has been developed with the support of Activity Alliance and takes the form of a simple disability inclusion health check. Working through the health check will help you understand your clubs’ areas of strength, as well as those that need development. Filled with information, practical tips and resources, the toolkit has been designed to help you create an action plan which can be implemented to start or grow disability provision at your club.

Disability Training for Clubs

If you want to go one step further and take a deeper dive into the barriers disabled people face when accessing football and how to overcome them, or you simply want some additional support in creating and implementing your action plan, there is also a calendar of face-to-face workshops, hosted both locally and nationally, where the toolkit is brought to life through knowledgeable tutors.
