Girls football

Hi there. I run an u13 girls team and we play in a boys league (so currently u12 boys league) we are entering 11 a side next season, but want to know if we can continue playing a year down in a boys league? Meaning we will be u14 girls playing in u13 boys league. I have tried to understand but can't seem to get a definitive answer. Any help is appreciated

    Hi Glenn, it is possible, You need to speak to your league and County FA. SCORY (the national rule set for youth league) does allow this under rule 4.F  "An all-female team can apply to the Competition to play an age group down in a mixed gender competition, subject to rule 8A(iii)&(iv) and provided the team has obtained approval from its Sanctioning Authority."
