I help out coach a local team where I stay.

One of the coaches is very direct to U12 and bordering to disrespectful

To give an example of such behavior, one of the worst things I have ever heard having been around grassroot football for over 5 years now, was after a game when he was giving players and parents a post match talk.

To his own son, he basically said plainly that he (son) was really bad and that his game overall was terrible during the match.

I was taken back by this, and perhaps someone would agree this is not the correct behavior and language by a coach to a team member even though that is his own son.

What does everyone think about this - I am over-reacting or?
