Hi, I was wondering if anyone could advise me or point me in the direction of the rules as our League do not seem to know them for this upcoming season.
We have moved from 5v5 to 7v7. Last season in 5v5 if the keeper had the ball in their hands the opposition had to retreat. The league are saying this is not the case this season and the attacking team will only retreat for dead balls (goal kicks). With my previous older the kids it was retreat for dead balls and when the keeper has the ball in their hands if they had say made a save, this was to encourage confidence on the ball and playing out from the back.
If anyone has any classification around this that would be greatly appreciated.
