Can anyone tell me if there is a rule regarding a goalkeeper kicking the ball from his hands in mini soccer, I have been told that the ball has to bounce in the goalkeepers own half is this true?

I'm not aware of any such rule and have never seen it ever picked up if there is. That said, in mini soccer it's all about teaching the kids to play the game, so hoofing the ball over their heads to a lone striker is probably not something any of us should be aiming for.
