What’s your favourite session?

We all have that one session. Works every time and our players love it.

Great sessions usually combine all of these things. They’re also delivered with a positive attitude.

  • My favourite sessions are based around the game usually in the form of Rondos. I tend to do block training so I'd work on defence for 4 weeks for example, defending the ball winning it back using two zones to encourage patience and composure on the ball before attempting to score and for the attackers to press effectively to regain possession and making a certain amount of passes inorder to move into the final 3rd and try and score, then with keepers.

I found the sessions for the u5 - u11s very useful and will aim to use several of the plans in the resource area and certainly could of done with them when I started
