Does anyone know of any exercises or drills to help girls move forwards and backwards as a team?

We are a newish team having only been together for a season and after a tournament at the weekend, it is clear we need to work on moving as a team (both whilst attacking and defending). Are there any exercises or drills we can do in training to help with this?

Many thanks.

  • In training play games where a goal only counts if the entire attacking team are in the opposition half when it is scored. This will encourage theM to all go forward together.

Can also play the opposite of the rule where the defending team are also awarded a goal if all of the defending team are in their own half when the opposition score. This will encourage them to all go back together.
