You have to do the "course introduction" part of the course and then wait a while until it processes as complete and then you will be able to open the "Respect" or "Introduction" courses - it isn't very clear, I was in the process of opening a help ticket after having completed the "course introduction" when I realised the courses had become available!

The best thing seems to be on the dashboard page where it shows all the courses laid out on a football field as this makes it clearer what you still have left outstanding or not and also has links to resources etc.
