Absolutley
Values, philosophy and passion for starters all the way through the ages.
a simple 1v1 at u 7's can be implented through the years at the start it would be can you beat your opponent to get to the other side, at u16's it could be can you beat your opponent to make a 2v1 for the attacker.
at u7's you would have a bigger area for more gains at u16 you can have a smaller area in certain parts of the pitch to show game relevanvce.
if you had a 2v1 you would simply ask u7 for them to get pass the 1 defender but as they get older it would be can the spare player make a movement wider to bring that player out
its just a simple step by step process no different to teaching your own child as a youngster to brush their teeth than showing your teenager how to shave properly
cheers lee
Thanks Lee! So I guess the main thing would be slight progressions to practices as you work through the ages and stages of development? But general coaching approach would be the same?
exactly Tim in my opinion.
what i try to remember is the younger they are try to incorperate the game and as they get older make it more game relevant
