I coach U7’s, U15’s and step 5 mens. I’ve used the same session for all of them before but like others have said make it relevant. In older age groups you look at the main player you want to work with ie No 9 starting a press then how your 7,21 & 10 anticipate the start of the press, triggers body shape etc with young ones it’s a match but give points if they intercept a pass of 2 goals if the win the ball from a defender. Even as basic as if a player has the ball can the nearest player go to the ball and the others mark tag the players they can pass to. U7’s need ball at the feet and fun. Older players need to be in gaged and to see the tactical side of things are working to reinforce them doing it on match day
