Absolutely, I coach from U7 girls all the way up to U15 boys. I think alot comes down to our own expectations as a coach, what do I want to get out of the session aswel as what do the players of that age want out of a session. Regardless of age, ability or gender my focus will always be around did they have fun? Did they learn something? Am I happy with the session?
I've been able to run the same session for an U7 and U15 side. Small alterations to pitch size, target areas/goals. Personally for me an U7 session would look more at the technique of some of the core skills where as my U15's in the same session we would look to introduce a more tactical approach.
