For those who played when younger, who was your best coach and why? what made them so good?
I felt my best coach personally was my first one, probably because he expected less - being my first time out at football - so he listened more and simplified things.
Thanks, Richard. Did he just let you play and make sure you enjoyed it? Or were there any other specific games he played that you liked?
Pretty much welcomed us all in, we would have a game going and then he would set us up a task to try and achieve that practice. Be it passing drills and trying to stop the ball in a certain area, shooting to work a goalkeeper or attempting to tackle etc.
