with all the technical advantages and being able to watch previous players and games, is a big plus but i would certainly be looking at what worked more

Sounds good Lee. Think that would certainly help continue to build confidence and players understanding of the game. 

Think if my current u12 team won 8-0 i'd faint in shock and have to retire a legend on a great result.

I reckon if my U9 team win a big scores like 8-0, I will keep the original plan. I will tell the players the big won has proved, that you can do what you couldn’t do before. With the steady and consistent plan to improve the players.
