  • Hi Josh, thanks for sharing - a really good article. I think it is key for coaches to provide the opportunity for players to talk if they want to. Which sounds easy but isn't always. Sometimes a group chat with the team and encouraging them to help each other can be hugely rewarding/helpful for them and can help bond the team. However, if there are more pressing issues that you as a coach notice, then it may be one for a welfare officer to discuss on an individual level. Keen to hear others thoughts...
