I am tempted to start using whiteboards for the U8 training and matches. Has anyone found this successful or had any issues with it. Any advise on do's and don'ts.
Thanks

Pens don’t work when it’s damp/wet. I tried to use one at training when we were doing small sided games to get the boys to run off the pitch and add their goals, creating an overload whilst they were gone. Just ended up in a mess as the pens stopped working so they ended up queuing to get their turn on the board.
I’ve used a smaller A4 size one once at training and that worked ok… cheap one from decathlon. I used it one on one, same principle… left the majority playing and got them over 1 at a time. I got them to draw what they thought I wanted then tried to get them to correct it based on their answers to my questions. No more than 2-3 mins each.
We have used white boards with magnets with great success with our U9 girls. As above don't use pens!
