1) Inclusion for EVEYONE can work, know your players, trust them and they will trust you.
ive rotated every player this season,(u16) something that has not happened to them before. regardless of ability, and results havent been much different. I think in general its worked really well because every player and parent has had regular reviews and updates about the fantastic things they have done and how the slightest of improvements can make them even better people
2) you can teach excellent techniques and tatics by just playing SSG's in training with 1 on 1 interventions and team interventions that dont ruin the flow
3) remembering why im doing it
"PLAY the ball", "lets PLAY" , "PLAY it to him"
the word PLAY we use all the time, instead of using it as a direct instruction to try and win, i try to remember that the word PLAY for all kids means FUN
