Template for team playing philosophy

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me creating a team ethos, playing philosophy etc. Are there any templates to help me??

Kind regards.

  • Hi Chris - I don't personally think a template is needed as much as maybe a slide on powerpoint to support the things that you want to reinforce as your philosophy. Ironically I think this can be overly philosophical .. where a simple clean perspective is / can be really effective.

As an example - our philosophy (Under 10) is "Develop through play" - so what this means is that our weekly training sessions are loaded with game-play situations / small-sided games / game-like situations that are developed around a theme (recently "where's the space" / Hit the danger zone /  Unpredictable me and so on.

The "rules" and "values" such as Respect for all, trying my personal best that every one signs up to can sit under your philosophy ultimately creating your team culture that players and parents can easily understand and relate to.

Tat works for me anyway .. hope you find your own way!
