When am I permitted to lead coaching?

I'm trying to take qualifications so I may take over from our existing (departing) coaches - but am struggling with clarity on what the minimum is.

I've done the "FA Playmaker" course and "Introduction to Coaching Football" (which includes "Safeguarding for Children" and "Introduction to First Aid"). My DBS check is being processed. Age group is Under-10s.

Is there anything else that I need before I start?

I think you just need to wait for your DBS to clear, and you should be good to go!

Minimum requirements to start off as a coach/manager would be your Enhanced CRC and FA Playmaker

However after one season of running a team you are required by the FA to complete the 'Introduction to Football' course which will give you your Safeguarding Children Cert and your First Aid in Football Cert
