Can outfield players wear a cap in hot weather?

Can outfield players wear a cap in hot weather? I know goalkeepers can but I am particularly interested to learn if u11s and below can wear them outfield as this age group are not allowed to header the ball.

Hi Emma, outfield can't wear baseball caps. Outfield players can wear caps as long as they don't have any extending parts/protruding elements. A hat worn without a peak by an outfield player must be black or the same colour as the main shirt colour and not attached to the shirt or have any dangerous mechanism such as a zip around the neck etc.
